I’ve known Nora’s family for most of my life. When she first reached out to me to inquire about photographing her wedding at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Calgary… I felt an unexpected wave of emotion.

I remember when Nora was born. Our families went to the same church and I am still friends with her older sisters. And while I’m not thaaaaat much older (10 years?), it still felt like a strange reality check. Wow. She’s a grown woman.

Felix and Nora’s wedding day felt like the perfect representation of them as a couple. An enchantingly beautiful choir and a spectacularly reverent wedding Mass. A large wedding party that was fun, enthusiastic and full of laughter. Bridal portraits at Nose Hill park in a setting that felt reminiscent of a scene in Pride and Prejudice (“Elizabeth Bennet who?!” remarked my second shooter). And an absolutely bumpin’ dance party, probably the most energetic one I’ve photographed.

If you’re planning a wedding Mass and are wanting it captured quietly and completely, fill out THIS form here; I would love to meet you.
